Everything we make falls into one of these. They overlap on purpose - a keepsake box is a wedding gift and an anniversary gift and a fiftieth-birthday gift, depending on what is engraved on it.

By what it is made of

• Solid wood - oak, walnut or dark espresso, oiled rather than lacquered so it can be refreshed rather than replaced. Most of the range.
• Printed and framed - frames, collage frames, photo blocks and star maps, where we print, mount and frame around the image you send.
• Acrylic and light - the LED name frame, where the engraving is cut into a clear panel lit from a wooden base.
• Ceramic and glass - mug sets and the memory jar, where the wood is the lid and the engraving sits on it.

The five pieces to start from

How to choose in about a minute

1. Write down one fact only this person would recognise - a date, a place, a line they say.
2. Decide display or use. Sentimental and house-proud, choose a plaque, sign or frame. Practical and anti-clutter, choose a box, board or desk piece.
3. Check the date you need it by against 3-7 working days of crafting plus delivery.
4. Pick the piece that carries that one fact best, and leave the rest of the catalogue alone.

What every piece includes

Whatever you choose: the personalization is in the price with no engraving surcharge, a layout preview comes before anything is cut, the piece is packed gift-ready with a message card in your words, and it ships tracked. UK orders over the threshold shown at the top of the site ship free; elsewhere delivery is calculated at checkout.

If you know what you want, add the details and send it. If you are not sure - the person, the occasion, the deadline, whether a piece suits them - email the studio at hello@homelycraft.online and describe the situation. We will suggest two or three pieces, and say so honestly if the date cannot be met.
