Lead times are the thing people get wrong

A hundred individually engraved pieces is not the same job as one piece done a hundred times - each name is a separate setup, a separate preview and a separate check. Plan on 10-15 working days for bulk orders, and longer in December. Send the name list as a spreadsheet, spelled exactly as each person spells it.

Things to avoid

1. Alcohol as a default. You do not know who drinks, and it is awkward to decline publicly.
2. Anything sized - clothing guesses go wrong and create an obligation to pretend.
3. Gifts that need the recipient to do admin, like a code to redeem on a site that needs an account.
4. Identical gifts for wildly different relationships. People compare notes.
